Grado Guests Festival of Author

In the beautiful place of Nazario Sauro dam in Grado also this year there is the prestigious music show (8^ edition). Grado guests festival of author is an event for the sunny island, that through the music shows the charm of lagoon and of its territory.

To open this festival : Nina Zilli at Friday 26th June, at 29th June John Illsley, founding of Dire Straits, at 9th July Fiorella Mannoia and for close this festival at 17th July there will be Goran Bregovic.

Wonderful performances on the seashore.

Thermae

From 20th April is open the new season to the thermae of Grado , building that has many success both between Italians and foreigners.

These thermae were know at the beginning of 800 century, when the aristocracy from Austria were here for the fine thermae, known for its  beneficial property. Today this thermae offer a modern treatment  of beauty  medicine, thalassotherapy, and  skin ageing prevention.

Grado receives the blue flag

As in the 2015 the city of Grado receive the “Blue Flag”, that is an important international award that every year the FEE organization (Foundation for Environmental Education) assign at all seaside resort that have certain criterions on sea quality (that must to be excellent) and to territory management (purification, separate refuse collection, bicycle lane, green areas, attention for environment).

With this flag, Grado have 26 °award, with the Green Flag, Grado is a Italian pride for its historical and natural heritage.

Grado has high quality standard, crystal sea, clean beach that are safety for the children and the public spaces render this city the ideal destination for the holidays.

Green flag in Grado

Even in this year Grado, the Island of the Sun, has receive the important award of Green Flag.

Grado is again between the best beaches for the under 18.

The requirements are simple but indispensable: crystal and low water near the shore, clean sand for build the castles. Lifeguards for the security, and colourful games for the children with the neighborhood ice cream shops, pizzerias, to meet every need.

The awards were conferred as a result of a survey conducted by 141 pediatricians, whose main purpose was to ensure the health of young people, enabling you to play without running any danger.

Grado is, therefore, one again a place adapt for family and children with its suitability environmental and for all work at the structures and for the organization made in course of years.
